What's an interview?
An interview is when you ask a person several questions to learn more about a topic or event.
For example:
Let’s say you wanted to learn more about a soccer game. You could interview the goalie to learn more about what happened.
Or let’s pretend you are writing an ALL ABOUT DOLPHINS book. You could interview a dolphin trainer at ocean adventure to learn more about dolphins.
Today we want you to ask an adult questions to learn more about different CULTURES.
How Do I Give An Interview?
Step 1Every Interview Needs Great Questions! Begin by asking an adult. “Think of all the places you’ve traveled outside our home country. What place was the most interesting and why? Then choose two of the questions below about that country.

If you need to ask more questions to get the person to dig deep and tell you more. The more they tell you the more you can put in your report! Step 3Look at you notes and write a 6- 12 sentence report about what you learned. Begin with a topic sentence…. “I interviewed my dad about India. He said it was the most interesting place he’s visited.” Step 4Reread your interview report. Does it make sense? Do all my sentence begin with capital letter? Do all my sentences end with periods? Is my spelling correct? If YES then hit submit. |
